Viettel officially puts mobile stations on air in Mozambique

On October 6th, 2011, Movitel, a joint venture between Viettel Global (70%) and Mozambican partners SPI&Invespar announced to puts first 9 mobile base stations (BTS) on air in Mozambique at 8h15 local time. Following successful domestic calls (in and outside network), the first international call, which satisfied technical standards, was successfully set up.
