Given this, Viettel Group remained resilient to gain a remarkable increase by 28% in revenue, reaching VNĐ117 trillion (or USD 5.6 billion), get a profit of VNĐ20 trillion (or USD 1 billion), and contributed VNĐ10 trillion (or USD 500 million) – 25% higher than 2010 - to State budget.

At the Launching ceremony of Leaders and Advisory Committee of Vietnam - Africa - Middle East Business Forum, Vice president of Viettel Group, Mr. Le Dang Dung has been selected to be the Chairman of the Forum.

On Monday 7th November, 2011 Metfone won the “Best operator in a developing market” award at the World Communication Awards 2011 ceremony held in London.

On 8th September, 2011, at 2:15 A.M (local time), Interconnection agreement between Digicel and Natcom was officially signed after 1 year of negotiation.
